LVRC Drama A Big Success!

  On December 5th, around 300 people gathered at the YMCA in Ho,   Volta Region, to watch the play “You Have A Choice.” Performed   by the YMCA Cultural Troupe, with the support of the Lady Volta Resource Centre (LVRC), the performance tackled the theme of teenage pregnancy and featured acting, drumming and dancing.

Volunteer Placement
Trainer In Reproductive And Sexual Health

The LVRC seeks dedicated volunteers to support its Reproductive and Sexual Health (RSH) Programme. Funded under the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the RSH programme aims to prevent early pregnancy and promote healthy behaviour through the provision of sexual health education and services.

Volunteers work with a team of local staff to design, plan, and implement various RSH programme activities, both at the LVRC and in the field. Depending on volunteers’ skills and preferences, this may include the following:

  • Conduct trainings for LVRC staff, Youth Leaders, and
    Peer Educators
  • Conduct Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Research
  • Serve as a Youth Group Leader
  • Conduct outreach in Ho Central Marketplace
  • Implement VEI’s Young Entrepreneurs Programme
  • Provide Marketing and Communications Support
